You guys said it takes a week.He said it takes 72 hours.I don't feel anything yet.He's either a bad doctor or a poor liar.

 

peak testosterone levels are reached a few days after injection (varies depending on what ester of testosterone was taken)... so technically the doctor is correct.

 

however... as far as "feeling" effects from testosterone.... i personally (as well as other friends of mine that use it) do not really "feel" or "see" any difference in my body until ive been taking it consistently for a few weeks, then i really start to feel noticeable effects, which are faster muscle recovery after workouts, more energy, more sex drive, and a generally increased sense of wellbeing.

 

your age and natural testosterone levels will also play a role in how soon you "feel" effects.... it makes sense that the lower your natural test, the sooner you will feel improvements..... for instance a man at 60yo might feel benefits faster than a guy 30yo, assuming they both had normal testosterone levels for their age.

 

also, everyones body has a different sensitivity to testosterone... in some people the receptors that testosterone binds to are more prevalent or available, and they notice a great effect with a smaller dosage.... other people require a larger dosage and more time to feel the same effect. that is why its good to have a doctor monitor your hormone levels and adjust your dosage and frequency based on your results.

I appreciate the response.I am just going to presume I won't feel any effects for awhile and if I do at all that is  just a bonus I guess.Incidentally,your synopsis on my bungling the act the other night was dead on.Lingering jet lag(a little bit) combined with the sleeping pills(main culprit.)

The juice is great for putting on muscle. Dianabol, Test, sustanon HGH all that good stuff... I want it.

But I'm lucky I can shag all day... nae bother. And bench press 200kg at the same time.

when it comes to sexual performance, i think testosterone has a more significant affect on increasing Desire rather than increasing actual performance.... when using testosterone youll find that you want sex more often.... but your performance abilities dont magically increase.

however feeling younger and having more energy (benefits of TRT) could be seen as helping to increase performance, particularly in older men.

i think viagra/cialis etc has a much much larger effect on increasing performance... however it does not really increasing Desire.

 

for safetys sake, its would be good to be tested for any underlying issues that testosterone might exacerbate like high blood pressure or liver problems (the liver has to do extra work to break down testosterone in most forms, much like being a drinker puts extra stress on the liver) or existing prostate cancer etc.

 

from my perspective, im not really concerned with whether the natural levels are low or not..... even if you have normal natural levels, theres nothing wrong with wanting "more".... i mean... why settle for just bringing levels up to normal? i like to be a little better than normal

With 25mg of testosterone enanthate 250(Max pro) 2 x per week subcutaneous, with .25 mg of arimidex 2 x per week the day before the testosterone, my test went from 650 to 1470, and my e2 stays at around 30. After 11 weeks, I wait 10 days after the last shot, then I do nolvadex 20mg the first day - then 10mg for 13 days. This keeps the nuts healthy, and gives the body a chance to normalize. Boner city, and good power in the gym. However, when I did not use arimidex the opposite was true.

I agree with the body building coach who advised me to "Cycle everything;training; 'gear'; - even boner pills ; and to always get blood tests."

No. That was a big fear though, because there is a link between female hormone therapy and ovarian cancer.  So a lot of people assumed that the same might be true for men.  All the more recent studies though (I am not an expert, but I read quite a bit about this stuff) seem to have put that fear to rest.   There does not seem to be any correlation.

 

BUT, if you already have prostate cancer, you probably should not take testosterone therapy.    But even that guideline is somewhat questionable with some different studies showing contradictory results.  

 

The current state of medical understanding (again, I'm just an informed layman -- not a doc)  is that there is absolutely no association between testosterone therapy and prostate cancer, but there *may* be an association  (again, it's unclear)  between testosterone therapy and increased growth of already formed prostate tumors because TRT can enlarge the prostate.    

 

At the end of the day, it's a lifestyle choice.  If you're healthy, over 40 and want a higher sex-drive (and less body fat), you should definitely consider TRT.   If you've experienced prostate problems in the past, or have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, you should definitely talk to a doctor before starting TRT injections.

Well,it is now 10:52 a.m. in Pattaya and I am going to see Dr Meyer at 1 p.m.The injection I got 8 days ago has made me impotent.Nothing else seems even a remote possibility.It is almost like my body quit producing testosterone but didn't receive the benefits of the supplement.It feels like I have been chemically castrated.I really don't know what I expect him to do but I figured I will hear what he has to say before I withdraw all of my money out,pack my bags,and head for the airport.I can save thousands of dollars or walk around limp for another 4 weeks.No decision at all,really.I doubt I'll ever be back after a disaster like this.All the posters were right to say it was dangerous to get a shot without a blood test but what has occurred seems an impossibility.

Feel very sorry for you mate, must be a great worry for you and your holiday ruined. I guess your experience here will serve as a warning for future guys. Back in our countries we have stringent regulations in place for a reason.

its possible that your body has an unusually high rate of aromatizing the testosterone (the body turning androgen into estrogen), therefore causing your estrogen levels to skyrocket and test to drop.... (FYI this is also the condition that leads to gynecomastia, bitch tits).... this is very rare that someone is so highly sensitive that it would happen on the first injection, but it is possible, and if thats the case, you just have really bad luck :(

 

ive only known 1 other guy who had a very instant reaction to testosterone this way, he was a former pro pitcher for an american baseball team, and my workout partner for a year.... he had done multiple steroid cycles through his career (administered by team doctor 5555) and they found his body was highly susceptible to aromatizing testosterone....we were training partners when i did my first experience with testosterone, we did the same dosage, same everything.... he got slight gynecomastia very quickly (as he warned me that he would, knowing what the doc had told him before) and he had to add Arimidex and Nolvadex to his cycle to combat the estrogen..... i took nothing extra, and had absolutely no issue with gyno or estrogen.

 

if it was me, id see if the doc can recommend an anti-aromitization compound (like Arimidex) to block the estrogen buildup, and some HCG to stimulate your natural test again.

 

please post back after your doctor visit, i am very interested to see what he says.

The pharm next to Tims gogo has a good deal on Arimidex. If you get some, do not go crazy with it because it is very strong.

 

If you do not want to go through the learning curve that your body has presented to you - I suggest - after waiting a day or two - getting a box of *andriol testocaps at Tims pharmacy(I box of 60 for 900B}. Take 3 caps with 3 raw eggs(andriol needs fat for proper absorption} a couple of hours before boom time, then down some Kamagra 20 mins' prior. You could also start getting some generic cialis in your system while the presumed Estrogen levels normalize. A nice relaxing massage at a naughty massage joint is a good way to relax. I would tell the gal that I have been  taking some blood pressure medicine, and could she see if it was still effecting me.

I visited the doctor about an hour ago.He said he can't believe it was the initial shot as the testoviron was in such a small amount.That's impossible.I have never experienced anything like this.He recommended getting another shot yesterday.I declined and then changed my mind after sleeping on it.Got stuck again this morning.I appreciate the responses and I may look at the Arimidex here in a few minutes.I've still got 26 nights left but,motherf***,if I have to look at one more Thai girl in cut-off shorts walk by and not be able to do anything I am going to go off the edge

There seems to be alot of knowledge on this site which I am grateful for.But the big question is(presuming it is aromatizing that is the problem) how much time are we talking here? I MIGHT give myself 48-72 hours but after that I would rather be anywhere BUT here.
