FawltyTowers Guesthouse

Just come back from a 10 day stay at the end of July in Pattaya staying at Fawlty Towers. It was a great place. Nice big clean rooms with balcony, separate entrance around the side, daily cleaning. It was a nice breezy room with screen doors on the balcony so you can let the air in and keep the bugs out. I never turned the air-con on at all during the whole trip!! The fan was enough.

The location was superb. Just off 2nd road. Soi 7/8 within walking distance. You can even cut through the back of the Soi to get to Soi Bukhao.

There was even a convenient laundry service downstairs that was run by the same lady who cleans the rooms. Just give her your laundry and she will drop it off in your room when she is done. Rooms seemed to get cleaned at any time of the day. If we popped out for breakfast at 8:00am, the rooms were cleaned by the time we got back. If we happened to sleep in late, the rooms were cleaned in the afternoon after we went out.

This guesthouse is not the Bell Travel service list, but another hotel on the same Soi is:"Sawasdee Sabai (Sawasdee Court)". So if you are using Bell Travel, just put that in your Bell Travel reservation as your destination and walk the few meters down the Soi to get to Fawlty Towers when you get dropped off.

Definately staying here again. Already booking my next trip now!!

Only to be expected in high season I reckon.

My Pattaya budget is perfectly adequate as long as I don't spend any of it
