Does they still language test every one that goes to immigration jomtien ?

I did get my Non-ED November 2010 but havent start the class yet ,. Next month its time for the fisrt visit to immigration.,

Going to ask my school if they can take care my passport for that visit,..

based on the latest information from my buddy yes they are still doing some kind of test.

Also be sure to wear pants, ironed shirt and proper shoes. Don't show up in a wife beater vest or tracksuit smelling like a bottle of sangsom, things like this do make a difference in Thailand. Good luck to you

i am not sure about the first visit but you should have at least learned something to show off if required.

I have had an ED visa since August 2010-I made my first extension at Jomtien in November 2010-after paying the 1900 baht I was told to go to a second desk for an interview and the officer there just looked at me looked at my passport and waved me away!Talking to my classmates some have made 4 extensions and have never been given a Thai test whilst other people get questioned every visit Seems as ever TIT and it depends on the mood of the immigration officer-one of the documents I had to take with me was a copy of my lesson schedule from the school to show attendance might be worth talking to the school before you go to immigration to cover yourself
