I have stayed twice over the past 7 mths.

I stayed there during April of 2009. the place was great. I had the two bedroom suite. I paid 1300 baht per night for three adults. You have to pay for the third. That included breakfast each morning> Not much of a view but just a short walk to the beach road. They had a taxi stand down stairs but did not always have a taxi available. There is a money exchange where the road comes out on 2nd road. Food was ok but not memorable. I will stay there on my next trip. Staff was good and very protective of the guests.
