Since the latest update, the site regularly stops when I try to open a topic and says something about "checking security."  Sometimes it can get stuck in a loop doing that and I have to exit and reopen the forum.

We are having some spam problems at the moment and what you are seeing is related to that. More info in this thread. Its being worked on.
