Koh Chang, recent recommendations...

I certainly hope & expect Ko Chang to be quieter than Ko Samui, which is pretty busy right now

I was in Samui in july 2022. It was certainly picking up at that time. Maybe 30-50% of places closed then - Chaweng. For some reason Bo Phut had A LOT of visitors. Looked like some Mallorca place. 
 

Ko Chang now is picking up pace since the last 2-3 months the locals tell. 
Stayed at White sands. Most places seem to have a decent number of guests to be able to operate. 
the most closures of small shops is in the southern end. 
The “Little Pattaya” complex is somewhat alive. Rough count 50-100 ladies and a somewhat less punter count.

I've been on Ko Chang the last 2 weeks, it seems busy here

The traffic up & down the main road is relentless, non-stop all day long

Kacha Resort and Spa

Was quite Ok , i can recommend it, price was around 40€

 

KC Grande Resort & Spa

I love this hotel, white sand beach. 

Price was 90€/ day

I have been here the weekend going back this morning little Pattaya the beer bar complex is alive and well but very little going on most of the bars are open but the quality is very low but there are some lookers. The town in general is really slow Friday night and Saturday night very few people out and about. It's been really nice weather in the mornings rains like hell for a couple of hours in the afternoon and then turns out nice for the evenings. My friend took a girl a couple of nights she quoted him 1500 short 2000 long time. He said it all went well with her he was happy.
