What are some good places to buy good quality wine ?

currently I shop at Best Supermarket (Pattaya Klang) or FoodMart Jomtien (near Jomtien bus stop)

also considering ordering wine on-line … someplace I could sign up to get 12 bottles delivered monthly (or something like that) … I live here year round.

Wine Connection.   Has 3 branches in Pattaya.  

Villa and TOPS both have large wine sections.

I think on-line delivery was banned about 2 years ago.

Yes, I get mine from Villa (the Avenue), Best (near Terminal 21) and Wine Connection (the Avenue).

Yes, there are other locations too but these are areas I frequent.

Whatever is convenient at the time.

Second your recommendation on Best Near Terminal 21. Not a bad selection and reasonable prices.

Is there any decent Thai wine? looking for a quirky gift for friends in Australia but am yet to taste anything decent that is produced locally.

Makro in Pattaya have wines, a reasonable selection. They do home delivery through their app.  But not sure if they deliver alchocol

Because of the very high tax level in LOS, I am reluctant to buy “good” wine here, and  the cheap wine tends to be crap based on fruit juice.

 

I found a line by Wolf Blass, and Aussi wine called Eaglehawk, that sells for 399 baht at Makro and other place which is quite OK, especially their Merlot. I buy it by the dozen…"..

after trying many other brands, the best I found for that price!
