There are LOTS of View Talays :) Easy to get them mixed up.

If there was not a VT Residence 4, i would say number 4 was avoided because of bad luck (for chinese, for example)

Where is VT5 A and B? Same same.

Next to VT5D is a large empty plot. Maybe VT4 / VT5A/B was supposed to be built there and then something happened.

Wait till people find out prices have risen everywhere in the last 2 years.  
 

good looking unit , appreciate anyone brave enough to share an availabilty in this venue where it’s sure to be picked apart.

Since 2016 the accumulated inflation was 9 %. 

I think that my asking price (I mentioned discount is possible) is still a good deal.

^^^^  I don't want to threadfuck, but thanks for details of recent history pricing. I'm in VT2A and hear so many conflicting accounts of rental prices in my block. If owner and tenant are happy with price, then there is a deal.

Median rent price in VT2 is 261 Bt/sqm. The real value depends of course on the floor, size (larger units usually get a lower price/sqm), whether it is building A or B , season and of course the quality of furnishing.

Beautiful remodelling job…lovely unit - a credit to the OP. 17,000 with the opportunity for a bit of negotiation at the margins looks reasonable to me 👍

No sign of anything going on in that empty plot.  Doesn't seem to have easy beach access and is quite narrow, can't see any more VT buildings being constructed as the newer style is more like Copacabana/Riveria these days and they still have heaps of unsold rooms in VT7 and VT8.  Can't see the owners in VT2A being particularly happy if they built anything tall on that plot, any anything below level 10 would have no view whatsoever.

As a result the area around VT5D is really quiet!
