Car change of ownership

I have sold a car I owned for about five years, just need to change the ownership papers into the name of the buyer.

He seems to think that both buyer and seller need to show a certificate of residence to do so if they are farang.
I didn’t think the seller needs a certificate of residence to sell, and if I can avoid having to go to immigration, I would prefer not to!

 

can anyone clarify?

yes both farangs  will need residence certificate or yellow book or work permit

 

To avoid the shitshow at immigration get an agent to acquire one for you

extra couple hundred baht i think (500)

Maneerat travel on soi post office would be my choice
