Hong Kong Air/China Eastern Biz

I flew Hong kong airlines, but only BKK to HKG, I was supposed to fly in sconomy, but they had signs up and for 2000 baht I upgraded to business. I got lounge access included so it was a good deal.the plane was an older 757 and the seats were nice but not the new lie flat. It was ok, I told my buddy about it, but they were not selling upgrades when he fly with them a few weeks later. Good for a 2 hour flight, not sure about takingthem further

I just flew into BKK on China Eastern. Vancouver-Shanghai segment was packed solid, whereas Shanghai-BKK was almost an empty plane. Food was a bit better than I'm used to, when flying on Chinese carriers.

This may have nothing to do with China Eastern, but they pulled my suitcase from Shanghai-BKK segment. Turned out it was because I had 2 AA batteries in my luggage. Took me 3 days to get my suitcase back.
