Pattaya - construction near your chosen hotel updates.

During my last stay in Pattaya I stayed at the Alelphi hotel which was I would definetly recommend, I enjoyed my stay there, howevever the hotel has construction work going on on both sides at the moment which was the only drawback. The construction is at foundation level.

I think a thread solely deicated to updates of current construction or noise disturbances around a hotel you stayed in recently would be of great help to other BMs. I’m not sure if there is already a thread like this running already. Please feel free to update here as much as possible.

Related to your thread, The Grand Sole hotel and Imperial hotel are currently closed and have construction fences around them. The Grand Sole has a sign saying being remodeled while I didn't see any sign at the Imperial.  Also the low rise hotel buildings at the Amari have been demolished with new and higher building being built.

The old Boss Suites at the corner of Soi Diana and Second Road has been totally demolished and there's large metal walls around it with work going on.

Construction work anticipated for the next while. Base Condo and LK Residence are the only nearby accommodations that might be affected

Any idea what is going up at the Corner of Soi Diana and 2nd road?  Its a big area.

I suspect this construction will also affect The Bay Breeze hotel on Soi Honey (2nd Rd end) and probably a couple others down that end.

overlooking the diana site. left lower building is Apex hotel 2nd rd higher building with the brown bit is rear of bay breeze soi honey

Apparently there is construction on Soi 12 at the back of Inn House. Someone might confirm if its still happening.

Maybe a similar thread for condo developments would be interesting. Like that Pattaya City condo which seems to be eternally being built behind 3rd road / Soi Bonkot

Possibly is that one. I passed it yesterday on Bonkot, i saw 3 blocks, 2 nearly built, 1 just a shell. Its close to Maxx City. No one talks about it but as far as i know the project is years behind

yes same one. the third block seemed to be almost an afterthought. i've got some more pics but locating them among my archives is time consuming.

it was and probably still is a Matrix project.......................we build our promises

new i had some earlier ones. jan 24th 2014 and piling getting started.............

 

 

 

so from jan 24th to at least oct 2014 progress was pretty rapid. but that's now way in the past

Opened in January and a few weeks later the Max City condotel east of CCR on Arunotai opened.  A small apartment is being built a few meters from CCR.

Interesting. When i went past it a couple days ago it had an empty look to it, no chairs out on balconies, no one outside. I wonder if owners got their chanotes

i spoke to a bloke yesterday who knows a chap currently staying there so it is open or at least partly open.

I walked down 2nd Rd yesterday and noticed the buildings that were on Soi 6/1 and 2nd Rd have been demolished.  Maybe another hotel going up next to the D hotel.
