About a month ago I spent 3 nights at P-Plus building c? (the one with the gym)

Everything else was fine but I could hear everything what the neighbouring room was doing

and in the mornings the room cleaners and their walkie talkies made alot of noise.

I was at 6th floor and didnt hear street noise or it didn't bother me at all.

Every night I came to hotel after bars had closed,

so not sure how much noise there is when rock factory and Triangle bars bands are still playing.

( My room was on the triangle bar side )

Oh god, yeah the walkie talkies first thing in the morning absolutely drive me up the wall.

3 hours sleep and you wake up to that and despair.

I wonder if @udontonyhas seen your review of the hotel. It's in what I would think a very good location for him, and it's certainly a good price. During normal times I wouldn't consider it since I try not to book hotels with tour bus parking areas. However, now, before the tour buses come back, it might be a good option to consider.

I had looked at this hotel in the past but wrote it off because of the numbers of tour buses and more expensive than some others I like.  That was before covid and since then I have stayed at Vogue for 500 to 600 baht a night.  I like Vogue, will be staying there again soon, but would not stay after tours arrive again.

Location is A1…for sure. Without the Chinese tour buses the hotel will have a better feel. 500 THB is a hell of a good price.

I have this hotel on my list as a cheap option for my next trip. Location, pool, room size is ok . On Agoda it is around $24aud a night or 500b. Not sure anything alse can match that value.

@LOTTELLEE WINNA Appreciate your reviews. Can I avoid the Chinese Groups and associated noise.

Anyone have more recent experiences?

As I understand there is little overseas travel by Chinese citizens currently. Even when I stayed there, they could be avoided most of the time as every day they were out on trips, so the pool was quiet for long periods. At all costs I avoided the restaurant (mealtimes looked to be a little combative to qualify as a relaxing ambience for fine dining 🤪). Also ask for a high floor, less noise from the tour buses.

The place is really soulless and I won’t stay there again, but if you are on a budget you won’t get better value or location.

yes, just depends on budget. Having jst come back from trip it won't be until early next year. Intimate hotel is first choice, Amber, Sleep with me, Acqua, bay breeze also in the mix

Good choices mate - Acqua (despite the smallish standard rooms) is my favourite,

Have the tour groups returned? Reserved for one week early August. Usually not bothered by noise outside room, too many years living on or near Air Force bases.
