Just wondering if anyone has stayed here and know if this is a guest friendly hotel.

Love the location and looks of the rooms

Thanks in advance

Had a couple of mates stay there... they loved it... rooms are of a good size. They did not mention a joiner fee to me, and I reckon they would have if there is  one, so I am confident but not 100%, that they don't charge.

Lucky... just asked, and he said no fee... but I am pretty sure he only ever took one back at a time.

Thanks Dave.. Think they are pretty strict about one guest at a time.  They didn't get back to me yet but just found on another site that you have to book for 2 people, or there is a fee for joiner, and something about the guest has to leave at 12pm.   Weird what if I'm there for a couple of weeks and really fall in love.

A mate stayed there last year and had overnight guests at no extra charge. They were particular though that he comes down and escorts his guest to the room. They also kept back the id and called back to check in on him when his guest left.

The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was an exceptionally small balcony.

How do you get to this place?  Im familiar with that area,  as I usually stay at one of the Eastiny places on 8. I've never seen it heard of this place and don't see it on google maps street view.

Yeah not an easy find. As you enter Soi 8 from the Beach Road side it's on the first or second left by lane. It's not on the main Soi but I remember it to be in the vicinity of Sailor Bar.

I had a mate who stayed there, and arranged for a girl to come to his hotel at a certain hour, daytime. She arrived, they refused to call his room to let him know she was waiting for him, and wouldn't ler her go up. he was expecting a call from reception.. She waited in the lobby for a while, then left again. He told the reception off, they said "hotel Policy".
And no, she didn't look like a drug addict skunk, but a very well dressed mature woman..
I won't ever stay there!  Idiots!

Yep really bad

But im just wondering how your mate and that girl didnt have each others mobile phone numbers

Not saying that would necessarily change the final outcome...

He met her in a bar/GC where exchanging mobile numbers was prohibited by management. He never doubted she would arrive, and she did.

Same here, I usually stay down the road at Eastiny Plaza but couldn't remember ever seeing a sign for Tweet Tweet Nest. Memorable name, but hidden out of the way.

not really a guest friendly hotel.

Why do you conclude that this hotel is not really guest friendly?

Well I don't plan to keep her past noon, so sounds good to me. At least there is no fee.    :)

Im guessing the restriction is so they can do housekeeping.

It seems pretty straight forward, just book the room for 2 people. I doubt they are going to come by at 1201 and tell her to leave, it's probably more of a suggestion. And even if they did, I'm sure a few Baht would convince the hotel staff to let her stay.

I'm not one to bring a multitude of girls back to my room but I have a room booked here for February.  The pictures look really nice and the TGF will probably love it unless the relationship changes =D.  Will report back on how it goes after my stay.

No problems with 1 guest, but you need to sign a form when u bring in your guest.

Stayed there last year. No problem bringing guests back. As mentioned before you will have to pay a joiner fee for extra guests. Not a bad little hotel. Decent sized rooms and freindly staff. Good location next to the sailor bar.

sounds like there could be a lot of noise from the bars around

Stayed in September. Decent hotel. Rooms are nice. First room didn't have hot water. Moved me to a different room. Ac was a little noisy. Bed was a little hard. Wifi was pretty good. Staff was mostly friendly. Location is good. Little hard to find at first. 800 baht joiner fee if you bring more then one guest back. Must meet guest in lobby which was a deal breaker for me on the next trip. Also lacks a pool which I realized is something I will require for the next trip. Something to do with LT's during the day. Wasnt very noisey, nut i live in a big city and used to a little noise.

Normaly we pay BF's to leave in the morning. I expect hotel staff to come 12:01 and kick them out without any payment. :D

Wonderful. Booked this place.

I've booked the Tweet-Tweet for my holidays around Xmas/NYE ... Deluxe Room 10 Nights for ~470€, for the peak season good price.

Positve:
- interessting design of the rooms, with atmospheric light
- good location, in touch to the BR / SR
- no joinerfee for the first quest
- the joiner "rule" (check out 12pm) is not applied

Negative:
- they want i pay for additional towels .... no go for me!
- the open bathroom ... i like it, but i'm sure it's not for everybody
- no own restaurant
- no laundry / and no laundry bags
- very slow elevator in the lobby
- no sport room, no pool

I have booked the hotel again, for my holidays next month.

Here some actually pictures:
