?? airlines doesn't sell oil, they burn it, and Jet A-1 is close to an all time low http://www.iata.org/publications/economics/fuel-monitor/Pages/price-analysis.aspx

The low price of oil has caused the loss of about 500000 jobs in the oil industry those workers are no longer flying to and from work, the people who own the oil are not spending as much because earnings are down. So cheap oil good for flying aircraft but no passengers bad.

Would assume majority of the 500.000  dont't fly Emirates and without any deeper knowledge of corporate finances I would say Emirates with it's  29 consecutive year of profit isn't doing bad https://www.emirates.com/media-centre/ek-newsroom-emirates-group-announces-2016-17-results#

Profits plunge, reforms ill-befitting  business, executives concerned and still they make profits in 100's of million.
Now, that's when I understand I have no clue of corporate finances and don't really give a sh*t.
The market works fine when cattle sells for less than £ 400, biz for £ 1.200 and BF in most BB are still below THB 400
