Recommendations fir a locally available notebook

Recommended Posts

Looking fir a Windiws equivalent fir a Macbook Air, e.g

Lightweight, maybe 13", 128 or 256 SSD, 4 Gb ram enough, reasonable quality, reliable.

Good battery life

Search I found a few, but most without Os, and they want to charge 4000 bt for a Wndiws install. Daylight robbery.

Anyone suggest someting?

And where to buy, preferable a place where one can go back fir service if it has problems...

In Tukcom they will install a Windows 10 for 500Bht ... not licensed of course but it works .

Had a few Acers and they were both crap . The last 2 are Lenovos and are doing above

expectation .

"In Tukcom they will install a Windows 10 for 500Bht "

My problem in TukCom tends to be that there are so many providers. Some no doubt are good at what they do, some are ignorant cowboys.

Can anyone suggest a dealer there that sells laptops and installs software AND can give consistent good service?

I have been burnt a few times....

For my last notebook I went to Wattana on Pattayaklang opposite Foodland.

I gave them a list with the specifications I wanted and they made a decent offer.

They look more professional than most shops at TukCom, although they do have a shop there too.

i can recommend the dell xps 13. it starts at $800 and has almost no bezel around the screen. it is basically a 15" packed in a 13" laptop.

i have 2 older dell xps in my household and both are still doing decent after 6 years.

i haven't seen a dell in tukcom or central festival pattaya, but i would imagine you can get one in a proper bangkok tech store. good luck buddy.
