Tinnie's Aussie Meat Pies

badboybilly

Recommended Posts

Was in Jomtien last night and noticed a cafe with Aussie meat pies advertised.

Turns out this busy popular place makes its own meat pies and cakes daily by its Aussie owner.

Not the cheapest but the most delicious.

On the south corner of the Jomtien complex

Went in a couple of times last trip.

Pretty good, though a bit pricey.

Worth a visit each trip though.

Careful if you are drunk as the entrance steps are bloody dangerous.

Pie & salad...something fundamentally wrong there...

Had the roast lamb pie.

Bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

Big portions of salad and crispy fries. Delicious pie!

Answering the age old question -- why Australians are as fat as Americans.

I would place the Australians bigger than the Americans in the fat stakes. Spend any time outside the City centre and its very hard to spot a slim chick in Australia.

Had a Chunky Steak Pie and Cheese and Bacon Sausage Roll. Quality was good and I thought price was acceptable for the standard of pie. 150+100. Well replicated and better than most back home. Flaky, buttery pastry and well proportioned meat to gravy with depth of flovour. Ill be back again and will bring my friend next time. Looking forward to trying the Sweet Pies too.
