As to the comment about needing to post that a PM was sent.

 

IMO this is a good practice as many BM ( myself included ) do not look at the top right of the page and miss the small red marker on the message envelope so if the seller misses it a sale may be lost therefore it is useful to inform the seller you have sent a PM as it is likely he will only look at the thread for interested parties in his/her sale.

 

A PM allows to enter into discussion in a private manner nothing sinister in doing so it is often done.

 

It may have contained an offer of exchange of services at the Den for the phone or can he pay 100tb a month for the next 10 years for it 5555 that would have been inappropriate to post in open forum we will never know and nor should we.
