Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has confirmed he will step down at the end of the season.

Which PL Manager is most likely to get the job??

I agree.  Sampaoli has Sevilla 5 pts from top in La Liga, a great feat considering Barca and Madrids raid them for players almost every year.  Also back-to-back Copa Americas beating the #1 team in the world twice is a "Special" accomplishment.   Players supposedly back him too.

The only negative factor is the Barca board of directors are fucking erratic.  They might prefer a lesser manager who has played for the club.  Only thing worse than a team being run by a board is an American owner.

Wenger may decide now is a good time to leave Arsenal...........I remember him saying he would be managing "somewhere" next season

He won 1 Copa America, not 2.

"Raid them for players almost every year"...

Only 4 players went from Sevilla to Barca/Madrid in the last 9 years.

You never cease to amaze me Magic.............we have already had a discussion on the quality of the premiere league in England..........and in every case you have been proven wrong.

The odds  would say you have to be right at least one time but I have my doubts.

I suggested Wenger would be a good fit for Barca, as I think his "purist" football philosophy would suit them..........by the way it was just a suggestion.

You responded with he is going to manage a German team...........no clue from you as to which one.

Would you care to elaborate or will you continue to post piffle?

"proven wrong"?

I've never seen any proof that the Premier League is inferior to other leagues.

Wenger doesn't speak Spanish, he can speak German because he was born and raised near the border of Germany, was a fan of Borussia Monchengladbach as a kid and visited many Bundesliga games.

Any club in the Bundesliga is a possibility except for Bayern, Leipzig, Hoffenheim, Hertha, Frankfurt, Koln, Freiburg and Mainz. I'm not a fortune teller, just telling you what I "expect".

Would you care to be more friendly or will you continue to be a dick?

If we finish to four Wenger will still be at Arsenal next season, if we finish top four and win the FA Cup I can see him leaving. If we fail to finish top four, I can't see how he can stay even winning the FA Cup wont help (sad end really despite me wanting him to go). No manager of note would manage Arsenal if he "moved upstairs"

As for jobs, I have always thought he would only do certain levels Real,Barca not really an option as he wouldn't have feeedom or time to implement his (now tired ) philosophy PSG,Bayern, France or alternatively follow the cash to China....to be honest I couldn't give a toss unless he went to Spurs

Wrong again Magic.  Wenger speaks 6 languages (according to multiple web sources), with Spanish being one of them.  BTW, Sevilla has made over 70E over the last 3 years on transfers.  Not bad for a team winning 3 Europa titles over that span.

I can't see any large club wanting Wenger at this point.  Not enough winning and way too old (67).  German clubs are "thriftycheap" so I doubt any would pay his current salary besides Bayern or Dortmund who would not want him.

Wrong Iasam. Wenger doesn't speak 6 languages, he speaks 3 (French, German and English), he can understand and speak a couple words of Spanish, Italian and Japanese.

How are you so sure Dortmund wouldn't want him? 67 is not that old for a football manager.

I have great respect for Wenger, het can't spend money like chelsea, united and city. So it will be hard to compete with them year after year. But they should have won the premiership lat year, with he other big teams failing.

I am curious wat will happen

Chelsea & Spurs much better than the next 4 in the top six.

Nice to see the Champions finally get it together & not go strait to the relegation drop 3.

Man City as Man Utd lots to sort out with the squads.

Liverpool great but defence & goalkeeper needs major work.

Arsenal still could be in the top 4 but I think not.

West Ham look like they are not happy in there new home.

Top 4 come what May will be Chelsea, Spurs, Man City, Liverpool.

Man Utd the kings of draws this season are 5th at best & may be 6th.

With only Leicester & Man Utd left in European games this season I hope they do the business as a football fan I like British teams in the mix to give us a interest & games to watch in mid week.

Looking for ward to the summer & the window of transfers & crazy wacky signings & prices.

Jack.

Tony Pulis after the West Brom v Liverpool game:

"I don’t like keepers going up for corners, but I’ve never told Ben so he didn’t know – but he does now"

I'm guessing Foster doesn't go up for any more corners
