Taa Lung

Im not 100% as its easier to translate when you hear it.

All I can think of is she is calling you "Uncle".

Is there much of an age difference between the two of you ? And is it possible that she is saying, "Jaa" not "Taa" ?

Sorry Bryan, you've got the wrong word there. Taa lung does indeed mean to talk naughty or saucy, but it's not the Thai word you've put in your reply (Taa len). Taa lung is spelt ทะลึ่ง.

Yes, but in the humorous sense of the word. As in naughty or saucy

Once when I was being sarcastic to a suit salesman my missus said that I was Taa Lung........ that doesn't really fit with saucy, naughty talk does it? That's why I thought it meant rude and inappropriate. Oh well, still a long way to go, clearly!

Sarcasm does come into it a bit. It can also mean bold or sassy. That's the thing with translating words between languages, the meaning is often broader or narrower than the English translation(s). The only way you ever really master the use of any given word is by listening to the way that the Thais use it. Whenever I've heard it it's always been with a grin on their faces, like when an English person says "naughty naughty". Hope this helps.

It does mean almost the same thing. And I know what you did Bryan, you copy and pasted the wrong translation from thai-language.com. Until I get another Thai keyboard I have to do the same for the Thai script, in fact it's often quicker than typing the bloody words.

Actually, i do think investing in a Thai key board might be a good idea, cant one learn a bit of thai that way??

Yes, you are right, they are very cheap in Thailand too. I had one before but didn't use it often. If you were disciplined enough to use it everyday it would be a great bonus, especially on live internet chats with TG's. If you only use it once in a while it can be very slow going.
