About 6-7 years ago we went to Royal Hills.

The Koreans were set up up there and they had a golf camp going on.It was one of the craziest scenes I've ever seen.

They take over the course for four months.

Sun up,they are on the range.18 before lunch.Back out for 9 or 18 then back to the range or the putting green until dinner.

After dinner,exercise until bed.

Repeat everyday.I am not suprised that the Koreans are so fucking good.It was like a military camp.

I talked to a bunch of them one day and they were really interested,as they had never seen a PGA tour even live.

And her we were getting shitfaced every night,some throwing up on the first tee.lolol.In the pool till 4am.

They looked at us very strangely.But they were nice enough folk.Stayed out of our way when we were playing.

Honestly don't understand why you wouldn't watch the best female players in the world if you play with and are of a thigh standard yourself. I played tournament tennis for a few years and enjoy watching the best ladies slog it out on court. Always thought playing to a high standard adds to enjoyment knowing how great some of the things they pull off are especially under pressure.

My answer is that I hate their swings. I watch golf to improve my own game, and the way most of the women dip their entire right shoulder and side down during and after impact drives me nuts. I literally look away when they swing, so I don't watch. Michele Wie, though, has a real golf swing. For many reasons I'll watch her for many reasons.

 

And the fatties? Watching Inbee Park is truly painful for me. I don't want to watch that mess, because I'm never going to model my swing after hers. For me, the same thing is true of their pitches and chips.

 

That being said, I also look away when I see ugly swings on the men's tour.

I love the position Furyk has at impact, and I feel his extension after impact is nearly perfect. So I'd must prefer to watch his swing rather than many others on the male tour. Just like many others, his backswing is odd, but I really like most of his swing. I cAan name many others I'd want to avoid, rather than Furyk.

I've watched countless male players swing on the practice range, and to be honest, it seems they hit 99% of them flush.

Not to me. There are radical differences at and after impact, in my eyes. I can't give you a list off the top of my head. But when I see their lower body move through the ball in a sloppy manner, I look away. Those are far worse than Furyk, at and after impact, in my opinion.

 

In Furyk's impact, I see a very late release which I don't see in many of the others on the men's tour. Especially the lower body, as it moves through the impact zone, others on the tour are totally different than Furyk.

 

I can give you a list of my ideal swings, Oostheizen is my favorite of all time, but back into history, Tom Weiskopf, Freddie Couples, Nicklaus, Jimmy Walker, Rickie Fowler, etc, etc. To give a list of the swings I don't want to watch would take time, as I focus on my top swings when I watch.

The set up is a combo of white and red tees and if you don't know that by now after all these years then you truly don't know shit.

I play with PGA,Canadian and Asian tour players that are plus 4-5's from the tippers.

Now,when I say they would beat them,they would beat them.

Thailand will be going crazy with Ariya winning her 3rd LPGA tournament in a row.

 

I notice she carried no driver throughout the tournament , doesn't need it 

 

as she has plenty of length from the tee anyway.  

 

Enough to make a nice eagle from about 8 foot , on 18th , Day 3 , when things had not been going so well for her that day.

 

I am still pretty confident the majority of amateurs could learn plenty from the top LPGA players ,

It's not good.

Good old bosso there is a bitter old expat sitting on the Darkside,maybe at the Player Lounge and wishing he was me.

i am a very average golfer but the game plays a huge part of my time in Pattaya.......Amazing courses and it is surprising the numbers of really good golfers that visit the region......We ought to start the "Mongers Open".......a new meaning to a hole in one!
