Londoner on soi post office does a good beef stew and a good breakfast as well.

 

Thought the food in the Londoner came from the Ritz or the Swan?

I had beef stew twice during my recent trip.

 

Queen Vic on Soi 6. NOT good. Plenty of meat but 'stew' was very thin with little veg.

Pig & Whistle Jomtien. Very good. Tasty, rich stew. Good meat, enough veg.

I think they were both 250 baht.

Bake 'n Brew is owned by a Thai. At least it used to be.

 

I asked to waitresses and they told me owner is an Australian guy

Never seen that before

 

It is not uncommon to serve Goulash type stew with noodles/pasta and some sour cream.
