I thought I noticed a for sale sign on the place when I walked by in February , but maybe I am mis-remembering.

Yep I saw a sign for rent its 60000baht/month

I overheard the owner saying a 7/11 is going in down stairs in the now unused area. So the door chime shield drive the people in the rooms above nuts. Lol.

 

Good place tho, I'm a fan..... For now.

I've booked a room in La Cerise for my holiday in June . Should I cancel my booking and search for another place to stay ? I've read so many good reviews , but now I'm not sure . . .

No need to cancel your booking mate, its still a good place, I would only recomend you to book the superior balcony room, its worth the extra baht imo.

Hi Mate - I have stayed La Cerise on many occasions, the last of which was only last November. La Cerise is still a really nice place - same lady (French?) Cheryl runs it. Rooms, service, cleanliness and location are still good.

 

They had a nice French bistro downstairs, but it Patts there isn't a market for it....so they contract the breakfasts out. Don't book BandB.

 

I would still recommend La Cerise...the classiest guesthouse in Patts.

How do you know the number of customers they have booked compared to previous years. Has Cheryl shared the details of her business with you?
