Raming Lodge was excellent value, can't remember web address but right in the middle of mongering bars. Also very quiet as it is back from the main road.

 

At 75 baht per hour for internet usage it does not look like such a great deal.

I've stayed at the Rux-Thai Guest House twice. Nice comfortable place, friendly people, Restaurant and close to the bars. less than 5 min walk. Number 1 Bar is just up the street. It's a great place. I walked everywhere I went.

Why care the internet rate in your hotel???? there are plenty of internetshops available in a short walk!

I stayed in Tawan Court, it's basic, bed hard, but has wi-fi and in a good location. It's not far from the main bar area on Loi Kroh Road but if you think that area is anything like Pattaya then you will be disappointed, I only went in them the first 2 nights and that was enough. I went to Reggae Street after that and that is about 20 minutes walk away from there.

 

If you want a gym go in Duangtawan hotel, cannot miss it, very big hotel on LK Road. Go to the 4th floor and if you are there more than 5 days you can get a monthly pass for 1000 or it is 200 per day. Alot of people go in just for the gym, there is a pool outside too, popular place.

Try bossotell inn hotel in chiang mai

 

It is located near railway station of chiang mai.

 

And you can go city center by tuk-tuk for 60 baht
