Where Do TGs Like To Eat?

Each time I'd ask the girl where she wanted to dine, the response was, "Up to you." Shit, I was in Patts for 2 weeks and if a place didn't have anything to do with sex, I was lost. For my next trip, can you guys recommend restaurants that are popular with TGs. Somewhere they'll likely enjoy?

the last time i asked a girl where she wanted to eat she said Walking Street Soi 15...... yup, right in front of the soi is a noodle shop.. she loved it.. i did too but by the gods.. i was sweating like a pig....

 

why not try the restaurant at the end of Walking Street where the harbor is... there is a great restaurant on the water you could try.. its a bit pricey but hell the girls loves it... plus they got some pretty good looking hostest around 9pm..

They would MUCH rather have the noodles + the cash

 

To be quite honest the vast majority pof them do NOT want to eat with you anyway despite the fact that many will play the part and appear to be enjoing it. Why not?? well

 

Time is money - sitting around eating is time wsetd to them, they could be looking for a new ST

 

Most of the time its blood "awkward". Even if they speak english there is usually little to say so they just sit looking at their nails etc.

 

Time and time again you hear guys say "I paid her 1000 PLUS I took her to eat"!!! Almost as if they think it somehow impresses them. It doesn't!

 

Don't bother guys - give her the extra CASH (i.e. meal costs) and then she will REALLY like you.

I agree with you that this is 100 percent true for a ST WS. But when you are taking them LT, almost every girl I had, wanted to stop and get something to eat. I guess they figure though too, that little extra time spent eating, is less time they have to boom boom. I think sometimes its almost expected that you stop and get them something to eat for a LT.

i do agree about the money part.. they really would rather enjoy a 30bht bowl of soup then an expensive dinner..

heck the cheap thai food most of the time taste way better then the expensive ones anyways..

BigE and I took our girls to Samurai Sushi near the Big C up on 2nd road and they loved it. Btw, if this is just a ST girl and its just the two of you, yes they get bored quickly and the eating thing can be awkward. If you are out with 2 or more of them, and they can talk to each other, they love to be taken out to eat.

In Pattaya the seafood market is great value. The restaurants in harbour are ok & my girl loved it. Usually though I don't seriously 'go out on the tooth' in Pattts.

In BKK, I like Zanzibar Soi11 (mid price), Ma Hanagna Soi29 (Exp), Face Soi 38 (Exp), Isaan House Soi 4 (Good Value), That Thai place on the river over from the Oriental (mid price), The Jap place in Imperial Queens Park (Exp), Bourbon St Washington Square (Good Value), Sukumvit House (Soi 16 I think) (Exp) ...when I say expensive, I mean nowhere near as expensive as in farangland, as long as you bring your own wine.

There are also some terrific 'el-cheapo' places about the suk, cafes etc, like Post office in Soi 4 & some other places in Soi 8.

I also eat off the street - but only on the recommendation of a Thai - and have found some great little places.

For music & food, check out the jazz pub near the Victory Monument, can't remember it's name ... but it is loud in there.

You may have gathered I like to eat.

PS Picking up on the awkwardness at meals thing, I agree if you are not really communicating don't waste your money on expensive restaurants. My current girl loves to eat & talk, so it works for us. My last girl would often go 'quiet' on me, an it gave me the shits until I realised she considered it a waste & felt out of place.

They love their noodles when they've just finished their shifts in the Go Go's. Those noodle stools can be a great place to pull late at night.

They will eat almost anywhere.

 

Kiss is a good place to take them for fast food, they do a good range of thai and felang food.

 

Another good idea is to get them back to your room give them 300bht and ask them to go out and get some food to eat in room.

 

they will come back a short while later with a load of grub.

I've had several actually ask to go Kiss food as they love the Thai food thier (as do I). The ferang food there is pretty average though.

 

Ive also had a few want to go to the food court on the top floor of Royal Garden Plaza. Lots of variety and a great view.

When I had my LT Thai GF she rather go eat with some of her friends in the hotel room. She bought the food at a Thai vendor. Noodles, Papaya salad, thoose chicken feet with lots of bones 555. She with another friend on the floor listening to the music on TV. When they where done, we went later to my Thai friend and we went to go for a good T-bone steak once in a while. Sometimes we went with his family, my gf and me and we went to a noodle shop or a seafood restaurant at the beach. We ate then some yummie Thai food and had much fun.

Been with my teeraks to many small and open thai restaurants, a sane farang wouldn't dare to enter. The food was delicious and cheap.

If any of my girls tries this "up to you" with me, I usually tell them "khun yaak dai!" and if this doesn't help it will be either the Ruen Thai (if she speaks good english) or the small self service kitchen opposite the alcazar cabaret. They all seemed happy with those decisions.

That place at the the beginning of WS, Fra something,roast duck,picture menu,cheap,always a hit.

on the road between beach and second.

If your out with several girls,have them take you to the outdoors BBQ place in Nakula.

200bht all you can eat,get your food from a little market and grill it yourself at tableside.

Great suggestions here. Funny, I'd often eat at a noodle stall BEFORE looking for girls. Little did I know they'd love the same.

 

As for Kiss Food, I've never seen a table of just Thais eating there. Therefore, I figured it must have been the tourist out of the party who decided to eat there. Now I know Thais like it too.

A few Thai girls took me to a place just in behind Walking Street, kind of close to Insomnia. There was also a place at the start of Walking Street upstairs where a live band is normally playing. Food was decent, will look for the name. Kiss Food and also the food court at the top of Royal Garden Plaza were also mentioned.

 

To be honest if I did not think there would be much communication I would not choose to go LT with them or if I did I would definitely not barfine them early.

Another option is the new Pattaya Beer Garden at the beginning of WS. It's a good environment on the water, with cold beer at a good price, and I thought the Thai food was pretty good. I took a girl there for lunch and she seemed to like it. And, if she wants to make her own Papaya Salad she can have it for free.

Moo Krata or thai bbq, its about 80 baht a head but you can eat as much as you want and you cook it yourself, well your lady will ;)

A few ladies suggested to go to the Baywatch restaurant on Beach road (next to soi 13/4). I can recommend it because

they have good food for reasonable prices and it's open 24/7. They offer a lot of thai food and also western food.

I don't even take them out any more. They usually dont have an appetite anyhow. I'd rather spend that money on myself. What's the point anyways? It's not like you're going to have that much fun eating with your TG. She doesnt even know english very well!

 

I think 99% of the time, all they want is to go to a food cart and buy some cheap fried rice or pork sticks. I let them go out and buy it themselves, thereby saving me 30 baht. Couldn't ask for more. I'm saving loads now that I don't take them out anymore. LOADS. If I want to go out somewhere nice I'll go by myself.
