Beer Lao in Pattaya

Hi do anyone know were to get the orginal beer lao in Patt?

I normally don't drink alcohol but i was told this beer is something I need to try this before I leave.

 

The hotel I am currently staying have the light and dark. What the difference BTW the original, light and dark? And which one do you prefer ?

I think Gullivers still sells it...but a much cheaper alternative is a supermarket...

 

Foodmart on Thappraya road on the approach to Jomtien sells it...and I'm sure Villa Market in The Avenue shopping complex on Second Road sells it

 

It is a great beer...best served cold on the north side of the Mekong but also travels very well...

Dark has not been available for around a month now...even in Southern Lao.

Went to your bar almost everyday during my Feb trip. Great prices and your staff is efficient and friendly. I also enjoyed learning about Australian rules football. Will be back in June enjoying more Beer Lao and Sangsom cokes

Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong but i have only ever seen the light and the dark sold here in Thailand i believe the light is the original you are referring to these is an Gold version but never seen it here for sale. www.beerlao.la

I was in your bar last night and was told no beer Lao. I went to the bar front area were a laptop was kept to order my beer and was given that 'rude ass look' the rude Thai like to make by the bar girl in front. You know that look that scream ' wtf is this guy doing here'. Luckily for me a nice service girl came up to me and took my order. Got my alternative beer and went to find a seat in the back. Drank up quickly and left.

Called in last night for the first time and enjoyed the Beer Lao

Love dark beer Lao, normally get it from Supermarket like Villa Garden, used to sell it in Kateseree in Soi Baokhao.

 

Tastes like brown ale and is a nice change from Chang, San Miguel, Leo, Tiger

Kateseree still has the dark one..........Im just enjoying one there at the moment.
