Potential security risk in PM

This is not about PA.

 

I am member of several boards, and yesterday I had an odd thing happen on another board.

 

I would like to,know if anyone here had ever a similar thing happen here or elsewhere.

 

"Last night I sent a PM to a fellow Board member. When I looked at the reply I sent him this morning, I noticed that my original message had a photo added to it, of a womans hand with a diamond ring on the finger.

I removed it and PM'd my friend, telling him about it.

My reply showed up with n image of a guy dancing with a woman. She didn't show her face, but her posture and hairstyle suggested it could have been the lady I was writing about with my friend BM.

 

I PM'd the board owner. He suggested I do a test, send him a few PM, with and without pic attachments.

I did so, and within a minute or so, one had collected an unwanted new image, the same men dancing previously, now sucking cock.

 

Maybe someone doesn't lie me, but i am not comfortable with the idea that someone can hack into my PM on this board.

 

Is there anyone here who had same thing happening to them?

 

The board owner suggested my password maybe compromised and suggested I change it .

 

I did. "

The second image, I saw the filename

"Wiseonexxxx"

 

A member named wiseone joined this board in 2007, and was banned later. It may have been his picture, or may have been him hacking my board identity, not sure.

 

Any help is appreciated.
