Despite living over 250 miles away Exeter helped shape my love of Horse Racing.  I was on holiday with the family in Torquay and by the 2nd week my Dad was obviously starting to get bored of it all.    He had seen coach trips from Torquay to both Newton Abbot & as it was then called Devon & Exeter Racecourse's.  The only way mum would let him go was to take me with him and leave my little sister with her.   Roll on to Tuesday at Newton Abbot & Thursday at Devon & Exeter and an 11 year old boy was finding a love of horse racing that is still here today.

Got caught with late scratching by another horse so 2nd in 4 horse race so no points for me, not a good start.

Breaking news Tom Marquand has been engaged to ride Hollie Doyle

2nd horse bobbed at 9/2 so that takes away the frustration. Off to bed now good luck everyone

Well done to Sigram, Froddo and me for our single winners , For the first time I’m in the lead , lol , it will only last 24 hours , I will enjoy the 24 hours lead . WorldPunter & Chang also had their horse placed . We will do this league up to the end of June . Keep an eye on the racing tomorrow, one or two could be cancelled in the last minute .
