In the last hour everyone has lost a number if posts on their post count.

I only lost 134 posts but others lost over 300!

 

I would not have really even noticed except that I'm on the countdown to 10K so now the thread and countdown will have to wait a while longer until it gets to number 1.

Hmmm 9 days to go and I'm averaging about 30 posts a day...I will fall just short I'm afraid. :)

I'll make sure I push myself a little harder...but I'm still confused to what happened.

 

Others like AlleyCat, Thaihot, Edge dropped about 300!

Guys we were 1005 unaware of it until this thread, so thanks for pointing it out. It has actually happened before a few years ago I recall.

 

As we use 3rd party software we cannot always control everything 100% but we are looking into it.

 

If people are very "bothered" we can manually increase post counts but lets keep this reasonable as that would be a lot of work.

I'm not that bothered...it will give me more time to write the remainder of chapters in my top 10 thread.

I excluded one of the forums from the post count, which wouldn't affect many people. But due to the problems, i have done a rebuild and recount which does reset and change things.

I presume you mean what you said i.e. that the said forum was only excluded from the count and not deleted?

 

Now that it's been brought to our notice by our PCM (Post Count 'Mod') it would of course be interesting to know which forum doesn't count any more and why.

Anything to do with the Philippines and the recent Spam attack?

It's a pity it wasn't the forum The Real Pattaya Addict posts in.   :Think1:

 

Anyway, I've no doubt 999 will find it if he posts there and his count doesn't go up.  :hello09:
