To me There are alot of alternative remedies....... olive leaf/ oil that kills every thing in a test tube including HIV. kills herpes.

colloidal minerals the belief that our body only gets sick because we are lacking in something.

aloevera that is being heavily researched for everything cancer ect

Hot chillie pepers kills cancer

 

I could go on and on.

 

There is a common story that doctors have left the mainstream to research alternative remedies,

Alot of bias is on both sides.

 

My personal opinion is keep an open mind, try something if you feel like it and if it works good for you

Just be weary of sales man.

 

Don't rely on one remedy there are many.

While I would normally say something like "be very careful and do your research" for something that claims to be a cure-all, I might not say this in case of silver. In moderate amounts (such as on sweets found in India and the ayurvedic concoction called chawanprash), it does not seem to have any negative effects nor any positive effects. To me, its simply like one of those chinese beliefs that say if you eat a tigers penis, you're going to be a real tiger in bed as well. Bunch of bollocks (with the sad result that tigers are becoming nearly extinct). But eating a tigers penis will probably not cause you any physical harm either.

 

Such beliefs about a myriad of animal parts, minerals and herbs exist all over the world. I believe in natural remedies too (after all, all our tablet/capsule medicines come from things found in nature ... but after a lot of double-blind testing). However, in this naturopathy world, one has to take the claims with a huge grain of salt. Often, you will hear claims of such and such has been used for thousands of years by so and so people. Sure! Most of these guys never have any scientific testing to fall back on. Often there is an unquestioned deference to whatever the village elders and the local witch doctors say and so it goes on for the thousands of years ....

You make it yourself.... its cheaper to make it than to buy it. A colloidal silver generator only costs between $70 and $40 USD on the internet. Look on the internet by typing in colloidal silver generators. There are many places to buy them on the net.

 

A generator is nothing more than 3 nine volt batteries, two 6" silver rods of .999 percent silver, distilled water, and sea salt. I bought my first generator for $70 USD ten years ago.... it came with everything. The most recent generator only cost me $40 USD (my friend lost the last one I loaned him)

 

I've seen companies listed on the internet who make generator kits in Austria, and the United States.... just look around. If you find something on the net and you need an opinion on it... let me know.

Actually, I read some of the stuff on the site before and if you want to believe it, particularly when the guy involved is 'sue crazy' (unsuccessfully) and has been shown to be lying then that's up to you. I didn't just 'slag off' the site, I was just pointing out to others who happened across your post that the site you referenced was deceptive, otherwise they might take your post at face value.

 

I don't see why you're so against people looking at alternatives. Colloidal silver may well have merit and the original poster was offering his personal experience, which didn't really require you to steam in with a big number about it being the cure for everything.

 

Nuff said, each to his own, you like drugs, that's up to you, I prefer alternatives wherever feasible!

The story I read made it sound like he had been injesting for many year...there was also a candidate for the senate in the USA who had the same thing happen from years of taking this stuff.

I tried it before, it doesn't work on psiorsis, or what ever else i was trying to cure at the time. I read that to much can turn you grey or blue before I saw the blue man on tv. In my reasearch I found that it was one of the first anti-biotics discovered, and for many years it was the best but now they have better anti-biotics that are more specific. Good sales pitch.

But as the earlier thread said to much anti-biotcs is not good. I don't think drinking it every day would be good. I'm not a Dr. This post IMHO.

Colloidal Silver is electrically charged particles of silver suspended in water.... you simply drink it. You can make a glass of colloidal silver in 10 minutes, if you have a colloidal silver generator.

 

 

Colloidal Silver is generated by attaching two silver rods of .999 percent pure silver across 27 volts (27 to 30 is best) of electricity with the silver rods placed inside a glass of distilled water. One silver bar is attached to the positive side of the electricity source (usually 3 nine volt batteries hooked together) and the other bar is attached to the negative side of the electricity source.

Electricity flows through the water causing small silver particles of silver to come off of the positive side of the silver rod which becomes trapped in the water. From my EXPERIENCE colloidal silver works well, its just that no one is financially motivated to carry out expensive trials to prove exactly how well it works on what and exactly how is its best applied.

 

So its a case of suck it and see, btw silver is used in dressing to treat burns victims, it staves off infections and speeds healing.

Yikes. How does it know which bacteria to kill? Or does it just kill everything regardless of whether it's good or bad?

 

I wouldn't trust information coming out of anyone who believes that all bacteria are bad and should be killed. That's insane.

Never tried it, but would consider it. I would also be concerned about it killing the good bacteria, which is definitely needed for digestion. There are a lot of natural remedy products out there with differant claims which I have personnally tried. Some I am using because they work for me, and some didn't. I think you just need to try yourself to see if it is effective for you. By the way, what else do you believe from personal experience seems to work for you?
