Street food in Pattaya

Recommended Posts

I don't know, I'd stay away from seafood like raw oysters or even some of those fried goodies those vendors sell along the beach.

Sometimes it's just bad luck.

Ate raw oysters in koh samed. I was out of commision for two days and I had stomach issues a week after.

I sometimes sit at the swiss bar along beach rd in the early evening and watch the world go by, its great for seeing all the food carts walk by, i always buy food of them and shout the girls in the bar also, they love it and make my night more enjoyable. I have never been sick of any food in Pattaya and i dont eat at restaurants, always trad Thai foods.

I do not have a strong stomach but have never put stomach problems down to the food in particular, my alcohol intake is up, my body clock is out and so are my routines for eating. My main problem is I do not have a high tolerance to really spicy particularly chilli laden food and despite assurances "it not spicy" I eat and feel like my mouth is on fire. Some of the dishes my regular  "squeeze in Pattaya" I have tasted would make a Vindaloo look tame.

From memory I think it was about 50-60 baht.
