The last game of the 1988/89 League Season. A 1-0 defeat gives Liverpool the league title on goal difference. A 2-0 defeat gives Arsenal the title on goal difference. Liverpool are 1 - 0 down in injury time. But then...........................

 

Nooooooooooooo!!!

 

I was about 12 at the time and on holiday in Italy. I cried for 2 days. A little bit of me died that day. I will never get it back..........
