Park Plaza Bangkok Sukhumvit 18 Review - Superior Room - Sukhumvit Soi 18

I stayed at the Park Plaza Bangkok Sukhumvit 18 for two nights in March 2012. My room was a Superior Room at 1700 baht(promotion price at Agoda) per night and 4000 baht Deposit.

This hotel is located between Apple soapy and Nana Entertainment Plaza. I can go to Apple soapy and Nana Entertainment Plaza in 15 minutes on foot.

The staff at the front desk was friendly.

The room was quiet, clean. The safe was inside the closet.

Good Wi-fi, you can use lan cable too.

Overall, I think it’s a pretty good hotel in Bangkok. If you want to go to Nana and soapy, I definitely will use this hotel again.

Interesting how you describe the location without mentioning that right across Suhkumvit is Soi Cowboy. Nana Plaza is much further away. I love walking and do walk all over albeit at a slow pace in humid Bangkok. You would have to be moving at a very rapid pace to make Nana in 15 minutes.

I stayed at Park Plaza for a couple of weeks in January when I also got a good price on Agoda. Not a big room but extemely clean and modern with a high quality modern bathroom. Nice swimming pool and a small exercise room. Will stay again in the future if can find a good rate again.

  • 3 months later...

when writing a review about a hotel nobody mentions the noise level of AC.this is the most frustrating subject for me in a hotel room.I can't sleep with a noisy AC and If I turn it off I can't sleep because of the heat

Why the fuck would we be talking about it otherwise ? A couple good promos there right now. I just booked 8 nights there and will get enough Carlson Points for 6 free. There's a 'Big Night Giveaway' which unfortunately has been reduced from 50k points to 15 and another promo which nets you 10k/2 night stay at Asian PPs or Radissons.. If you book three 2 nighters you'll get 2 or 3 nites free. Not bad still. wj
