I notice other guys have permanent links on the bottom of posts linking to other sites but I have absolutely no idea how to do it !!

 

I would like to place a link myself.

 

How do you do it ?? Don't laugh as its took me a while to pluck up courage to post !!!

You need to add a signature.

 

Open your forum settings, click on signature then on the link button.

Copy a www.xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx in the pop up link box

 

 

 

Done Make sure you click save changes when you are finished.

I noticed that you can add any number of urls. I attempted to put the second one but it just replaced the original. What did I do wrong ??

But on the signature box you should be able to leave a space then add another.

Not sure. Have tried leaving a space and also inserting a comma but doesn't seem to want to accept both. I can switch between the two no problem. Probably something I'm doing slightly wrong.

Not sure mate. I used 2 spaces between links and it accepts it no problem. Also can do below.

Thanks for previous assistance buddy. Despite me seeing similar links all over the forum I was told to remove mine. Against "policy" I'm told but so far since receiving a quit notice I've found 13 in less than 2 hours so perhaps not.

so you know the signature links here will not count in google as on this forum they are set to be ignored by the google and bing bots. so if your just doing it for links it woudnt help..

 

But if your doing something in Pattaya your sig is a great spot to advertise.
