unread post marked as read.

Ok to make this quick. I get post marked as read that are not.

 

What I do is, in the forum "root" I use one of the direct links to the latest post in a section. When I go back the the root that entire section is read, entering it shows all post to be read. Something is way of or has been changed.

 

As it is now I have no way of telling what posts I have read or not after opening that first post.

I think the 'read last unread post' button is defeated once you have gone to the thread.

 

Whatever you read it starts again from that time ..........if that's what you mean?

I think this is a side effect to the problems we had yesterday.

 

It will sort itself out over time.

If I click on 'view new content' it tells me there is nothing to show.

Not enirely. It should start over at my last read post in that thread, however now, all post in that entire section is marked as read. so if I click on the quick linkt to that last post on Bartol banter, all threads/post in barstol banter is marked read.

Don't know if it's related but the View New Content link shows no new content...

with View New Content - once it says no new posts to show, click on the "since my last visit" link on the left - works for me anyway. Hopefully this glitch will be sorted soon.
