hotel discount cards

noticed several BMS purchase ad discount card of that particular hotels offering to receive a discount on room rate etc.

 

todays example was the Ace Club at Areca Lodge for instance, pay 750 for card and get a 290 baht nightly reduction on room rate.

 

does anyone use these regularly?

 

and do they still work if you prepay on agoda, then buy card and give you a retrospective discount?
