Avatar How to change the thumbnail

Anybody knows how I can adopt a new avatar (not the name, just the thumbnail)?

I checked my profile settings and couldn't find anything.

click on your own name at the top right of page (next to sign out), choose my profile then click "Edit my profile" you'll find it in there.

Thank you. I had tried that already yesterday and changed my personal picture but my avatar picture was left unchanged.

Now all of a sudden I see that my avatar picture has changed to be that personal picture that I wanted for avatar.

Or it took the server that much time to do it !!!

Looks like it takes some time to come up!

I also changed a few times lately and it took 2-3 days before the new one showed!

Come to think of it maybe the avatar name and picture must be checked and approved by the PA commitee thus necessitating some delay.

Some of these proposed avatars could be objectionable on multiple grounds.

Anyway I've got my new one now. Took less than a day.

 

It's the same 24h vetting delay in ThaiLoveLinks, for instance.
