France 12 Argentina 17 . A stunning opening game saw defeat for France at the hands of Argentina. If France are to be crowned Champs they must make history as no team has won after losing their first match. Argentina have blown Pool D wide open with a performance of quality and discipline. Felipe Contepomi kicked four penalties as Argentina lead 17-9 at half time. A wounded France must now beat Ireland in Paris on Sep 21st to avoid elimination.

At last things getting interesting. England must and should win tonight but looks like Ireland will be out. Wales should qualify easy and Scots should be too good for Italy.

However France have made a massive fuck up allowing Wales to have a 1/4 final match. It is now almost certain they will be playing New Zealand in Cardiff at their own World Cup?? As New Zealand have known for ages they will be playing there it will be packed with Kiwi's. Ubelievable cock up!!!

The whole competition is a farce !! The host nation France holding the world cup, but games have been played at "Cardiff's Millenium" stadium giving the welsh an advantage and Scotland at "Murryfield" an advantage, i am sure if Englands games were played at "Twickenham" the Scots & the Welsh would be screaming its a con ?

Apparantly it was between England and France as to who hosted the tournament.

France agreed to give the games to Scotland and Wales and in return they got their vote. Coming back to bite them now however!!!!!!!!

So much for Wales getting to play at the Millenium Stadium and the home advantage. They did not make the quater finals and are out of the competition. I believe they sacked their coach. :D

Now the "Paddies" being out muscled and out thought by the"Argies", that's 5 Southern Hemisphere teams and 3 Northern Hemisphere teams left in, the Argentines look a good outside bet as they play Scotland next week and should batter them, that's if the Scots do not cheat - like collapsing the maul, playing on the offside line, coming in from the side etc,etc,etc...

And other countries don't do the same? :LMFO:
