Restaurants rising prices?

Recommended Posts

I have just had a look at the hme page from Casa Pascal and noticeds, that the price for thebreakfast/lunch menu has risen by 50 B, due to "food shortage".

Have other restaurants increased prices?

I hope that this is not a general trend.

If prices rise and restaurant owners see that customers are willing to pay them then I am sure that there will be a reluctance on their part to reduce them once the issues associated with the flooding are over.

I read somewhere that prices may rise during the flooding. But most likely they will reduce the prices after this shortage is sorted out :)

I have noticed in a couple of places that the portion sizes seem to have shrunk recently. I guess that is an alternative to a price hike!

No price hikes for Tequila Reef but we are paying a bit more for certain items on a short term basis but we are not passing the cost on to our customers.
