What percentage of your bikes get wrecked? I've ridden bikes all my life, never had a wreck, but while in Patts, I see a lot of banged up bikes. I don't drink, and am a safe rider, just seems like a lot of wrecks are not the riders fault. Your thoughts?, thanks

Well in 2 years of renting out about 40 bikes we have never had a bike stolen and never had a bike written off.

The worst we had was a guy slid his bike down the street some , he ended up with some road rash and a bill for 3,700 baht (it was a pcx and  panels and equipment on one side were replaced)

 

If you ride sensibly and defensively and not too fast ,riding a bike here is great , you get to see loads more stuff off the baht bus route and get to explore Pattaya and its surrounds very easily

Thanks again for orgainizing a bike for me on my last trip over the past few weeks.  As usual - the bike was dropped off/picked up as scheduled - and was in top-knotch mechanical condition.

 

To my fellow BM's considering renting a motorbike while in Pattaya... DO IT!  - and get in touch with Kevin.  I started using Kevin's services during Songkran 2012.  Five rentals last year and two so far this year.  Kevin has a good stock of bikes and was able to handle rentals for me and five other guys (most of them BM's) during Birthday Bash (Aug/Sept) 2012.

 

 

Kevin - as long as you are still in business I will be a customer of yours for years to come.

(There is another BM on PA who rents out motorbikes (I won't name him as he still maintains a good reputation with a few other BM's) - but after he screwed me and 3 other BM's out of our reservations (made 4 months in advance of the trip) I would rather ride a skateboard before he ever sees another baht out of me again.)
