PRELOADABLE UK SIM/UK NUMBER TO CALL BACK TO UK

Yes I know all about Thai sim cards but I am in a position that I need to hide my location this time to certain folk in the UK who cannot know i am in Thailand.

I have in the past rang from my vodafone number which has resulted in a 2-300 quid bill every trip...surely there must be an easier way for me to call and a UK number show up...yes she will know I am away as i am away a lot but I cannot call with a Thai sim as she may check were this number originates and i am up poop creek...any ideas ? do simple pay as you go sims when preloaded work in thai or ???

 

thanks for your help,yes i am devious but my new Mrs is an air stewardess for a well known airline and flys in and out of swampy and knows exactly why men go to los...she is cute and i want to keep her ...for now !!

You could say Phone was lost or Stolen or I think if you check on Google there is a way to re-route your call through another number, May be worth a try Matey

I would go for Skype as well. It is very cheap. When you send texts from it you can program it to show that they are from your UK mobile number. I would imagine that you could do the same with calls.

If you must have a sim card and have a buddy or mailbox back in the UK ,O2 have a free sim offer at the moment a buddy of mine picked up 2 its a worldwide pay as you go sim that you can top up online and make phone calls from any country to country for a lot less than there normal which is a rip off at 1.20 per minute, I'll try to find more info if thats of interest to you, you can also get worldwide sims from Amazon I don't know if they could be suitable for you.

 

Other than that as the boss man said Skype is killing it these days!!!
