How far is pattaya from the new airport in bangkok? How long a taxi ride take?

Haven't done it myself yet but I heard 1.5 hrs drive.

1.5 hr when I did it , the traffic was light ,

1 and a half there, 2.15 back, a word of advice, when headin back for return flight, leave plenty of time for bad traffic, i hit it miles outside of bkk, they are widening the road from patts to bkk and there are loads of roadworks pretty much the full stretch and they are hindering flows at the minute.

yeah a bit risky taxi from Pattaya to Airport, unless leaving Pattaya many hours before plane leaves.

Best bet is stay in BKK one or two days before departure, trip to airport not such a hassel.
