Punch and Judy English Pub

 

A friend and I had a Sunday Lunch at Punch and Judys near the Eden hotel on Soi 8 off Thepprasit Road back in July of this year. If you are into traditional pubs then this is the place for you. My friend recommended this place and I was impressed with the quality of the ingredients and the prices where right in my comfortable spending range. My club sandwich with egg was around 180 baht and the Sunday roast (3 meats) was 280 baht I believe.

I perfer the CaddyShack on the otherside of the road, food is better. well I thought the Sunday roast was and it is cheaper

Yes tried this place last night,very clean,great toilets too.

Good attentive staff

 

Had Bangers and mash ..............190 baht,probaly the best Bangers and mash gravy i have tasted.

One of my favourites there also, certainly the best English food place in the area.

Had you eaten some of the mash before you took the photo ? That looks a seriously small portion of mashed potato to me !

Yes it looks small but filled me up,same serving portion as other places I have eaten bangers and mash at .

 

It was very tasty.......some places are serving watered potato,the gravy here was very nice.......apparently mixed with red wine.

You should try The Sportsman on Soi 13, good food and big portions!
