Hi All,

 

Has anyone flown recently on china airways from amsterdam to bangkok? have they seat back tvs now? seat guru shows they have on both 747-400 variations and i read on here someplace they were upgrading thier long haul fleet!

I was flying with China Airlines from Amsterdam to Bangkok in february and there was no in-flight entertainment. Maybe they have made an upgrading since then, i don't know.

hi tsamba, i would also appreciate the same info as i will be travelling on the same route in mid sept!!

do they have usb connections at each seat for electronics ????

With China Airlines it's basically pot luck if you get one of the upgraded planes on the Ams Bkk route. I've have had both the ones with the seat-back IFE systems & the older versions with the overhead TVs on that route. To me it doesn't matter too much as the staff are always pleasant, no problem getting drinks & ham rolls anytime during the flight - just be nice to them.
