100% but you can cancel or change dates if needed.

Most hotels charge one night fee if you cancel the whole reservation.

My booking was charged twice and it was a battle to get them to refund it. They did eventually after constant denials, i had to get the credit card company on to them.

Some rates are good on Agoda and others are more (when you add taxes) than just dealing with the hotel direct.

Speak as I find I have used them for years and have only ever had a slight problem when issuing my voucher at a rural hotel in rachaburi where the girl on reception was not sure what it was. Still booked us in and an hour later all smiles and no problem. All other time turn up show voucher get room and in at least 50% of the time upgrade.

Had one time again in a rural hotel where I was not happy with the room and checked out day early and they refunded 75% of the money a few months later without me even asking them to.

Big Casino.

I always book with Agoda and never had any problems with them. One time I cancelled my booking 2 days before , and I only got charged for 1 night out of 12.

They charge you right away, that much I know.

Mostly you are charged 100% when you book the room as it is instant confirmation. However at some partner hotels worldwide, you will pay the hotel on arrival. At these hotels. The cancellation policies depend on the hotel and time of year. You can just click booking conditions to see the policies.

Just a little aside to the conversation - I have used asiawebdirect.com several times for booking hotels (and have used Agoda too). They have the same discounted prices as Agoda but charge a 10% deposit as opposed to paying the whole amount upfront. Pay the balance when you check-out of your hotel. I've also had to cancel bookings with them and had no issues in getting my deposit refunded.

Worth a look guys.

Cheers
