suggest you only book 3 nights first. in case you do not like hotel. there is never any problem getting a room in pattaya. always book 2 person. i have never had any guest problems in thailand and have stayed at a hundred places by now. there are some but you would be very unlucky. do search of hotel name on this board. any hotel between Walking Street and say soi 10 is a good central location. read reviews on agoda/trip advisor and here on PA.
