Transit time in Beijing

Hi all.

Anyone have experience going via Beijing airport on Air China? Is 1hr45 enough time to allow for transit?

I dont mind the quality inflight as long as I get there on time.

1hr 45 minutes is plenty of time for transit.

 

I travelled from Beijing to Singapore on Air China and had no issues at all with the inflight quality... Beijing airport is very modern (from memory) having been modernised for the Olympics.

 

If the price is right, there's no reason not to take it. Though as your flag is British, it doesn't really make sense to fly to Beijing then on Bangkok. If might be worth your while paying a bit extra for a direct flight which may save you several hours.

As im traveling over xmas the saving from a direct flight is about £300 so i dont mind a couple of extra hours.
