EU Family Permits

 

An EEA/EU national who is wishing to exercise their Treaty rights to either work in the UK, or settle may apply for an EU Family permit this allows their spouse and children to join them in the UK. Once they arrive you can apply for a 5 year residence card both the visa application and the residence card are free of charge

Any ideas when the Changes will be in effect regarding Northern Ireland?, i have a British passport but have applied for my irish one at present which i am eligible for but i think it may take 2 weeks to arrive and im concerned that they will have finished giving EEA family permits to people living in Northern Ireland who also have Irish passports ie dual nationality.
