Diabetic Suppplies

Hi Guys

 

Does anyone know if you can buy Diabetc supplies like insulin and insulin needles etc in Phuket whilst on holiday? Are there any chemists there?

Being a type II diabetic myself it is available but can be difficult to get. The chemists only sell pills, they do not sell injectables so if you take the needle my advice is to bring enough to last you when you go. If your sugar level is controlled by pills it should not be a problem to acquire them locally. You will also have a hard time possibly with the terminology for diabetes, 'bao wan' is the transliterated term the use for it.
