Could you please consider making an option so that we can turn off Twitter and FB Linking? I am behind the great firewall of China and lots of times cant use the site because of this problem. A second method would be that if Twitter or FB didnt link in say 5 seconds the page loaded anyway. This is usually the case with FB, but twitter just freezes the page load forever.....I know I can use VPN but this is often not possible for lots of reasons

I don't know much about it but you may like to investigate if you can use your hosts file to get around this problem. Here is some basic information on this file: Hosts File
