One of my co-workers almost had a close call, his daughter was choking but he was able to dislodge the food. You never know when you might come across someone that needs help if they are choking in a restaurant, etc.

 

Note, only perform the heimlich if you are absolutely sure the person is choking and cannot breathe or speak.

 

I'm no medical expert at all so if anyone has any hints.
